How I did it: I went to the University of Central Florida and majored in theatre design and technology. As a senior, I was given the opportunity to design a production. 

Lessons & tips: Start small, be an assistant designer first!

    Design Costumes I 1 week ago

    This ties into my being able to perform for an audience and fix my voice goal. A dream of mine is to perform little shows at the hotels in my area. I would love to design out of this world costumes.

    I want to head to Goodwill and the salvation army for clothing I can transform into banging glittery costumes. I have a friend in Pittsburgh that does this for a living so I might just send her my designs and pay her to make them.

    I love costume design, and have been designing a lot for small productions in NYC. Now I just need that stepping stone into bigger projects. I would love for this to be a full time career.
