I got sick and my voice was messed up lol, but I kept singing, even when the choir instructor told me i was just destracting lol…
Singing always makes the rest of my day much brighter and happier. I’ve recently stopped (and now started again) singing. My voice is ok, I give it a 6/10, which isn’t bad. It is a good cure for the blues. I also find that after a few drinks my voice sounds even better.. try it! =D
I just realized I’ve been doing this lately. Most times its just little kid songs to my son but he seems to really like it. He’s learning to sing too and I think that is the best part.
The Original Optimist is contemplating what tomorrow will bring
According to my friends, I sing extremely well and when I sing they would join in. lol, a lot of people (specifically my siblings) get annoyed by my singing because it is a constant for me, but no worries. Soon they will be waking up to my voice on the radio. ;D
Being passionate about something means you practice and take time out of your day for it. It is very beneficial to sing everyday. It makes you feel good, gives you more experience, and helps you learn more music!
I’ve been singing everyday of my life since I was a wee lass. I have specific memories from my childhood of singing while jumping on the trampoline, making pretend-dinners in my pretend-kitchen, and putting my dolls to sleep. It’s helped me through some difficult adolescent years and continues to help me grow as a woman, I believe. Singing can make one feel more tranquil when sad, or ecstatic when happy. The feeling I get when I sing is indescribable and lets me know I’m on the right track.
I’m not going for perfect, but I know singing and singing well makes me happier.
I guess I didn’t need to really put it on the list. But it just makes a nice kind of way to live your life. And I think that’s what I wanted to remember. Sing everyday even when you don’t feel like it. Something about it is just good for the soul I think.
