ALMOST slept in today…then laid there trying to decide whether to get up or not. Then FLEW out of bed, showered and rushed off to church. I am so thankful I made that decision… It’s hard to explain but I feel like I’m a whole person again.

I purchased a rosary bracelet and keychain so that I can pray the rosary whenever I have a free moment. So far…it’s working.

Attended church again today and I am SO thankful I did! It was very tempting to stay in my warm bed especially since the weather outside was TERRIBLE. Freezing rain!

I’m staying on the patch I’m on….I know it’s the right one.

I’ve been reading books on the Catholic faith to re-establish myself into the church. Actually attended mass today.

WOW it feels great. Especially when I truly have so many blessings to be thanksful for.

I want to able to simply let go of things and put it in His hands.

This is hard for me. 2 years ago

I pray and ask God to help me certain problems I have and goals I have. Months and years pass and things don’t really change much or at all. I don’t really have any answers about what I should change about myself. Maybe the answer is just “wait.” It is hard to have faith that God will take care of me in the future when I don’t see any change.

This is a big one... 2 years ago

This is going to take some time. I’m planning on organizing some summer youth programs for our church to use this summer and to have for future summers and whatever special thing they decide they want to do. I don’t know, I don’t go to church often because I feel like I’m there out of obligation. Or maybe thats what I made up to excuse myself from waking up at 8am on the last day of the weekend. But anywho, I think that the time I spend reading materials and going over The Bible and biblical literary works will draw me closer. I truly believe that this is something that has to be done in my own time in my own way for it to be honest and true and forever.

There must be a God because there must be somebody-something-somegod to have created this wonderful universe we live in! the universe just couldn’t appear one day out of the blue, not even out of the blue, but out of nothing… without any spark of life that set the whole living on fire!

One day at a time 3 years ago

Ok, so I’ve been reading The Daily Gospel on and off for nearly a year now, but very sporadically, and haven’t managed to make it into a daily habit yet. I like the idea though, since it’s really quick to read a small bit at a time, and very simple to ”catch up” if I miss a day or two (just at the beginning, of course – once it’s a regular part of my routine, it should be pretty much automatic). The added bonus, is that this goes along with the christian calendar, and makes sense in the context of what’s being celebrated at any time of year! :) So far I’m two days into being a regular reader…now it’s just a matter of seeing how well I do in the next few days and weeks. Wish me luck :)

I was beginning to add more and more goals to my list, and noticed that can make things difficult, not only because we can only have up to 43 goals, which means less opportunities, but also makes it more difficult to concentrate on our reason for choosing our goals. I had already made reading the bible and praying more two of my goals, and was planning on adding more items about faith and religion to my list. Then I realized these can all be one main goal, and that way each of the sub-goals will get much more of the attention I hope to give and which they deserve.
