"Light The Fire Within"

I know it’s there it’s just been awfully dark lately. I must pick myself up again and find strength to keep fighting and to find the “life” in me again

I feel a renewed spark. I am alive and grateful for each day. I’m not dying. I’m living.

I decided to re-open some goals and I’m full speed ahead. We’ve all got this one shot at our mortal lives. This is it. If this were your very last year alive, what would you do???

Your last Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall, birthday, Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc…what would you do?

I want to make each one the best one ever! This is going to be a fantastically wonderful year! I’m so excited!! OK, now I have to figure out how to accomplish some of my goals…

The wind has been taken out of my sail. I just got bombarded with news I can’t deal with at the time and I don’t know where the appropriate forum to deal with this is at. All I can say is I don’t know what to say and I don’t know how to say it, and I don’t want to deal with it. I may be absent from here for awhile.

I saw this quote on flowergirlresumed’s page and felt it appropriate for this goal of mine.

This is what makes humanity so wonderful!!! We are not in it just for ourselves. It isn’t just about our own gains or losses. Life is not meant to journey through it alone. It is meant to be shared. At times when I think I’m at the end of what I can handle, my fire within is rekindled by the inspiring efforts of another. I look to others and see that they survived something I am going through and I glean from them knowledge, strength and direction. I know I am not alone. When my own fire within is burning bright, then I am able to help rekindle the fire in another who may be struggling. This makes life meaningful and rich. I want to be able to thank all who have helped rekindle the fire within myself.

You’ve got to see this video from the SLC 2002 promo for “Light The Fire Within” on it’s torch relay and Olympic games. It brings back such incredible memories for me! I remember being so inspired to do something more with my life. I also was overwhelmed and honored to be chosen to carry the Olympic torch. I am grateful that event was captured on a news story so I can go back and watch it and remember what I was able to overcome in life and how I lived it to the fullest!
