August 10, 09 : just 10 min-jog on the treadmill.
Finally, I reached 365!! As from running on the hilly road at charity’s fun run yesterday, my legs are still stiff and sore and I woke up late this morning. So, I just jogged for 10 minutes. Can’t believe I started this goal a year ago and it ends today. I think I am going to go on with running goal to 500 days, but not in a row. I will try to run at least 5 days a week.

August 9, 09 : 4 k. charity’s funrun
Pt and I joined another charity fun run at PSU. It’s the 15th of Hatyai Nature Run held by Prince of Songkhla University. A lot more people this year and more foreigners. It was fun and exciting seeing all ranged of runners and so many children joined the event. I didn’t know how long I took to finish 4K this time as there was no clock at the finish line (we finished at different spot from the mini and half-marathon runners). But I think I did better from last time. As I speeded up and the road were a bit hilly along the way, my legs were/are killing me then and now.. Again, after running, they provided different kinds of food for us runners to eat together. PT and I can’t wait to join it again next year!

August 8, 09 : went out running around the village with Py.
It was kind of jogging and walking in the morning. Each of us had a camera with us. We stopped by the road to take some pictures. It was the best time to spend time alone with her, talk to her, get to know each other better, take photographs together, make fun of each other.. etc. We was out for nearly an hour, she was tried and was too lazy to walk back home so I had to carry her on my back home. Again, she greeted many people I didn’t know along the way home.

I let myself sleep in to have more rest, in hoping to cure the flu. When I woke up again, it was 6.25 am. Enough time for a quick run. I don’t want to push myself much when the flu is still lingering in me.

August 5, 09 : quick 10 mins
on the day that i don’t feel like running, a quick 10 min-run is already a big thing to me. today, when it was time to run, i felt like counting running up and down the stairs as my running but i told myself i’d better keep it for the day that i am sick or too tired to move my legs. and today 10 min is really 10 min, no pushing, no convincing. just get it done, i told myself..

saturday and sunday, i was sick and bed-ridden. monday, i started it slow and managed to convinced myself to run 4 miles.

July 31, 09 : 5 miles, 39.39 mins.
i ran slowly on the first 10 mins and speeded up later but not too fast to stir up the sore left leg. i also played music along while running. the songs helped take my mind off the running and the ticking clock which i kept looking at. when i was on the last mile, i tried speeding up and was glad that i reached 5 miles before 40 mins.

i wanted to run 5 miles again this morning but the left leg was sore endlessly. i tried to ignore it but it was there the whole 32 mins. so, i told myself to stop and try again tomorrow.
