    After the debacle of dietary disaster that was Halloween, I was very good yesterday. Lots of water, some exercise, and healthy options for food and dropped a quick 2 pounds. The hard part was sitting at a bar with my friends for football and downing waters. Really wanted a cheeseburger and a shot of whiskey.



    New month, new dedication 4 weeks ago

    Hopefully. September was an excellent month for weight loss, but i totally slacked in October. Halloween was pretty much the bottom of bad eating, so hopefully I can turn a new page as the calendar does the same.

    being sick makes me not really want to eat . . . but that’s probably not the most sensible option for getting my weight loss under control. Oh well. Otherwise, I’m not doing so well with this.

    The day after I posted last I was 2 pounds lower and after a weekend and a Monday away from the scale I was 3 pounds lower bringing me down to 261.5 or 6.5 pounds away from my year end goal and only .5 pounds away from my mini end of the month goal of losing 6 pounds in October. Instead of feeling like I can take it easy now for a big from things going well I am all the more determined to keep it up and press forward now that I have the numbers dropping again.

    Not surprisingly my last entry was an artificial low that only lasted a day before going up again. To make matters worse around a week an a half ago I was in a car accident when I was hit from behind while stopping at a stop sign and suffered a lower back injury which has proven to be counter productive toward my weight loss efforts. A few days ago I had a followup with my doctor who wanted me to come back in a week and depending upon how things are might send me to physical therapy to aid in my recovery.

    for losing five pounds this month, but be okay with losing less, as long as I lose something. The Girl wants to show me some the stretches and such that she is doing in her dance class, which would be great. So, we shall see.

    not sure how I did it but 2 months ago

    I was really impressed today to find it down 5 pounds from 267 it was on Wednesday to the 262 that it was today. Sure I realize it is probably an artificial low to some extent given my downs and ups cycles but nevertheless it can not be denied that progress to some level was clearly made during those 6 days between weighing myself.

    While I have managed to have gone down since my last update it is the Weight Commander graph that has me concerned as it shows that I have pretty much been going in circles over time. Even though the circles are getting smaller and deeper over time with slightly slower numbers, it is a bad trend that needs to be broken otherwise it would put me in danger of not meeting the personal challenge date for this goal.
