find the perfect place to live

I do not know how to do this. I can’t figure it out.

Searching for the right combination of weather, proximity to an ocean [read: fishing] and great schools to culminate in a fabulous quality of life.

Every time we think we are done moving, life changes and so does our address. My husband and I were all scaled down to our little retirement “shoe box” home, but recently have realized that we should get something bigger to be able to help out our family members. I hope large buckets of money fall from the sky, as the prices are simply out of this world!

I’m thinking about Portland, Oregon or Boulder, CO.

Tell you what, this was pretty tough to do. I knew I wanted somewhere cold, somewhere rural, and somewhere where I could raise my children in a clean, loving environment. Greenland had been floating around my mind for awhile, but then again, so had Newfoundland, New Zealand, and the Shetland Islands. But whenever I look at a picture of Greenland or hear something about Greenland, my heart skips a beat. I’d be a real idiot if I didn’t listen to my heart, I think everyone would agree. So one day, hopefully after I’m married (I’m terrified of tackling a new country alone – shouldn’t be, but nevertheless I am) I’ll pack everything up and head to southern Greenland, where I can start my school and build my home.
