I moved this to number one on my list. I think I will start by planning on reading a chapter or two after I put the kids to bed and before I go to bed. My church is studing James and I think I will start reading there. Wish me luck!!!

Ok, so I’m not a morning devotional type of person, so I’ve been reading the upper room devotions right before bed each night and the short bible passages that go along with each one. It’s not much, but it’s a great way to go to sleep!
It’s not going so well. I’m not even reading a little bit online like I used to do. I need to work on that. :-(
I’m doing good so far this year. I made it an official “New Year’s Resolution”. Somehow, by declaring it to everyone on Facebook, it has put more pressure on me to succeed. I’m excited.
Well, I’m not reading the Bible… but I am reading The Shack. Yes… NOT the Bible… but I feel closer to God reading that than I do reading His own Word. All the same I suppose. After reading this book, I will probably be more inclined to read from His Word.
I haven’t read much of the Bible today… nor yesterday… or the day before that. I’ve got to make a plan. I get so wrapped up in my schedule, that… until I get so used to reading that I start to miss it, I need to have it scheduled. So, let’s see… today has already started, so I can’t read in the morning… too late for that. I will read at the desk when I’m working tonight. Tomorrow… I shall read while eating breakfast. I hope I succeed.
