meet local vegans and vegetarians

Met a local woman a few months back and she organized a monthly vegan potluck group. We’ve gone twice and the food is awesome and the company is great too!

Found a friend who is willing to go with me next month to the sustainable brunch so I don’t have to go by myself this time. Woohoo!

I went to lunch at Thai Jasmine in Bedford today – omg, it was totally incredible! I went by myself, but wound up getting another single person with me, so that was cool. She was not a vegetarian, but it was cool that a non-veg went to a vegan buffet. I think if we can get more people to be open-minded to veg fare that’s a good place to start!

Searched online and found there is a DFW Vegetarian and Vegan Society and they have group lunches two times a month. The next lunch is Feb 1 so I’m planning to try and attend!
