More "How I Did It" stories
christinerumleskie is dreaming about what could be :)
How I did it: First, I applied for a part time job at a local radio station while I was in college, got it, and worked the horrible shifts (weekends and holidays). I then applied for a full time news reporter job at a radio station across the country (you know, for fun)... and got it!I decided to accept the job, packed one suitcase and headed 4500 kms away from home.I'm loving every minute of it!Basically, I graduated early from college because I… Read how I did it…

I need to go to almighty school for this I guess. It is in the same category as “artist” online, so I am guessing this is going to be a difficult task. Right after I click submit, I am going to search if anyone has completed this and learn the steps.

After reading this blog I found my passion. http://embraceliving.net/blog/2008/12/how-to-find-out-if-you-are-living-your-real-purpose-now/
It is: “To provide rational analysis on issues which affect the community.”
I will tell you how I did it once I have completed the goal.

Considering my social ‘disability’ I wasn’t sure I was cut out for the big, mean and nasty world of journalism- but I’m not giving up just yet.
Last term (at uni) I wrote up an interview in about 55 minutes (I am so massively unorganised) and still managed to achieve a 2:1 (A sort of grade B, I guess) and lots of positive praise from my tutor. So I must be able to write, right?
I will persevere.
It is my biggest goal to become a journalist. In fact I am in college right now trying to obtain my degree in Mass Communication. I love to write and I love to research and learn new things. Writing has always been my strong point. Now I just need the motivation to continue with my schooling.
My confidence has been down since my best friend died. I haven’t wrote any poems or stories since that night. I finally started working on some new song lyrics for friend. I love to take pictures. and I love writing. Ive always been told i should be a writer or journalist. It looks like its a challenge but im going to strive to be the best and work on it until I can become the best. You got to love what you do in order to be good at it. :)
I am currently Editor-in-chief of my high school’s newspaper, and I am applying to colleges as a Journalism major. I’m also feeling more and more confident in my writing. Yeah!
It’s exciting seeing a very long term goal of mine falling into place. I still have a long way to go, but hey, this isn’t just a small goal like “dance more”- this is my future.
