I have wanted to move to North Carolina ever since I went to the Outer Banks with a boyfriend (ex) in ‘05. Now at the age of 21, it’s becoming more of a resonable goal than a lucid flashback. My parents are having more children…they are still very young considering my age.. Unfortunately I’m feeling a lot of pressure to get out of the way for the new kids, and MA is very expensive to rent and buy. An average 2 bedroom apt is about $1200.00 a month without utilities in my area, so N.C. seems much more reasonable. I actually think that wih a little more work on my credit I could buy a house down there in about a year. I know for sure that I’m taking my one and only younger sibling with me. I think I’m just afraid that in a few months when my house calms down, that my parents are going to brush off how much they have hurt me by pushing me and my brother out..and take it personally that we are leaving pretty much to get away from all this madness.

I’ve lived all over the state [Morehead City, Boone, Morganton, Lenoir], and I love it. There is so much to do if you take the time to look, and so much natural beauty.

but it’s been a year and strangely enough it has grown on me. Really like being on the coast. At this point, can’t see myself staying here longer than a couple more years but it does seem like a nice place to raise a family, if one is into that sort of thing.

I’ve lived in NC most of my life.. the eastern part during childhood, college in Raleigh, and now living north of Charlotte. I love NC!!

Greensburo is nice, Charlotte sucks. I dont know why someone would want to live here. Well, unless you are 21. Under 21, though, Southern North Carolina (and most likely the rest) has nothing interesting to do.

I’ve lived here longer than anywhere in the US. Triangle area has a lot to do for it’s size, and it’s pretty

It’s awesome, there isn’t anything you can want or desire that isn’t in that state – beaches, mountains, colleges, jobs, etc.
Charlotte is the best !!

Well, actually it depends on YOU. I must admit, though I have often complained about “living in the middle of nowhere”, some parts are quite beautiful. It might be worth it.
but I’m moving the hell out when I graduate. :D
