Ok, last night I changed the sheets, washed the blanket, broke out a clean comforter, changed the king-size sham pillows to match the new comforter, and put the other comforter/shams into a Space Bag and sucked all the life out of it.
It will be sitting around until I go to the laundromat to do ‘big stuff’. I bought Space Bags so the ‘big stuff’ wont be in the way. 6 years ago
We have four weiner dogs….three long hairs and a smooth. Oh yeah, and a Turkish Angora who is pure white with blue eyes. Nicest cat in the world. Anyway, they ALL sleep in bed with Bob and I. Jeau sleeps on my pillow. Linus sleeps between two blanket layers. Teena sleeps under the covers. Everyone else varies. All that coming and going under the blankets causes lots of tickley hair on your pillow…especially my beautiful Jeau on my pillow.
I love when the bed is freshly made. And I take the comforters to the laundry every three or four months.
Now that I have a resolve to change them every week…let’s do it!!! I love the smell of DOWNY, not dogs!
Actually, I bought one of those new Space Bags today to try them out and I just changed the sheets, blanket, and comforter on the bed. I am tired of mounds of blankets around the house. I wanted to try the Space Bags out. Instead of putting the comforter in my closet in a pile, or in the corner of the room in a pile, or in the garage in a pile, etc… waiting to go to the laundry…meaning it waits until comforter #2 needs to go to the laundry… I stuffed it into an XL SPace Bag and hooked it up to the Dyson. Man, did that suck out some volume! It’s small enough now to tuck away in the front closet! Here’s a curious question for you…if people suck all the air out of the clothes they put in their suitcase…how in the hell do they get them all back into their suitcase for the return trip? Pack their vacuum? 6 years ago
