I meditated again today.
See Jac? It’s not so hard.
A resting meditation, concentrating on my breathing.

See Jac? It’s not so hard.
A resting meditation, concentrating on my breathing.
Meditated yesterday.
Meditated today again. A walking meditation, a sitting meditation, and a resting one too.
Let’s see how long I can keep this up.
I stayed with a bunch of Sisters this past week, and last night my group had the opportunity to participate in Zen Meditation. Of course, I jumped at the opp. We sat concentrating on our breathing for half an hour (which is a long time to sit completely straight up), read a prayer, walked slowly around the room for ten minutes paying close attention to our steps and the pressure on our feet, and then meditated some more.
I felt a sense of calmness sweep over my body.
I would like to do this all the time.
However, it is tough with five room mates and never a few minutes alone in peace.
I’m slacking again!
Is it because I’m not making time for it?
Because I’m not remembering I wanted to do this goal?
Because I’m not comfortable meditating here?
I know it’s something I want. I know it would help me out.
Breathing exercises I do. Walking around I do. Mindfulness I’m working on.
After slacking on this goal for nearly a year….
I take the time to meditate today.
Hopefully I can keep it up.
There’s rarely a moment of privacy with 5 room mates, but… if this is something I really want, then I’ll find a way…
i woke up early this morning and meditated for a bit before work.
i figure i’ll do this two or three times a week, and the other days i can walk or take a bike ride.
excellent!
Worth doing!
This seems to get easier each week. I’ve made meditation part of my daily routine at least 3 days a week. After I have my evening shower I light a candle, put on some relaxing music, do some yoga exercises and then take some time out to meditate.
Great bonus, after my meditation I’m very relaxed so I fall asleep immediately and I’ve never slept better.
I’ve completed this goal, but I want to keep doing this.
Worth doing!
And still on schedule. It was hard to find the right time/some peace and quiet to meditate, but I did it!
Worth doing!
I did a long meditation while doing my beach hike and a few shorter ones on other days. I feel great!
