see Napoleon Dynamite

NOT WORTH IT! This is the single most stupid movie I have seen in this lifetime. I swear my IQ dropped ten points because of it. Heed these words or pay the consequences!

Seriously! lol Sure its dumb and doesnt really have apoint but it will still make u laugh so hard you wanna pee ur pants.

It’s not that it’s a great movie, because honestly I think it’s mediocre at best. It’s that if you don’t watch it, you’ll miss out on the in-jokes of our generation and feel really awkward in social situations.

I watched Napoleon Dynamite a few weeks ago, after hearing my former grade 7/8 students (mostly the boys) quote it, act like it, talk like it, etc. I wasn’t all that impressed, it was a waste of an afternoon. Well, except maybe for the references I now see everywhere in pop culture.

Finally got around to watching this last night, with the help of Paperfaerie. I laughed and laughed, if not until my arse had completely fallen off but at least until it had reduced in size, which is no bad thing. Hey, laughing burns calories. As promised, Lucyann baked her little heart out, and we nearly died from a surfeit of scones, both fruity and cheesy, and we drank wine and caught up on gossip. A lovely way to spend a Friday evening.

Paperfaerie is coming over tomorrow and bringing Napoleon Dynamite. Lucyann is going to make scones. I don’t know what I can contribute. Wit, charm and beauty just won’t cut it in this situation.

I failed to see any humor in this movie.
