learn latin dancing

I’ve always responded to the music of the Latin culture…the percussion, the flamenco guitar…it is a music of passion and flowing movement and a beautiful, exotic rhythm. It is a music that transports me to a fascinating place within myself that I haven’t completely explored. Samba?

Well, don’t look now, but the wifey and I have set a date: first dance lesson Oct 3 and every Tues afterward for another 8 wks or so. Gettin excited.

We had fun in Cuba a couple of years ago, and were going back. This time I want to know the steps before I get there. BTW – very sexy dancing with Wendy….

I’ve taken dance classes before (ballet, hip hop, tap) but I’ve never taken any sort of ballroom/partner dancing. I particularly think that the Latin dances (salsa, cha cha) would be so much fun!

this is awesome! =) its so much fun even if i’m dancing with sweaty , funny looking 40 yr old men =P i’ve learnt quite a few moves but the only one i can remember doing is the “octopus” move..

YAY! starting next wednesday =)

it is going quite nicely. am a bit bored of salsa, want more of merenge and bachata to be honest plus i need to revise all the moves i ve learned…tomorrow!

another lesson today! was quite nice! have another on wednesday and there is a latin party on friday:D:D

ive had a couple of more lessons:) last night was reall fun. we danced rueda, in a circle and we had a really good laugh

did a lesson on Tue and a lesson today:) was nice. we are getting better!. a cubanese instructor is coming this month:D
