I’d like to lose another 10 or 15 pounds and be a lot more toned, but I am really comfortable with my body and I’m very active. It feels great to be in this “place!”

I’ve lost 12 or 13 pounds in the last month or so through 5 days of cardio per week and food journaling (cutting way back on carbs, refined sugar, etc and adding lots of vegetables). I’m using sparkpeople.com – love that site!

I am doing the Shrink Yourself program to get to the bottom of my emotional eating. www.shrinkyourself.com
I guess it has to get worse before it gets better because I am out of control, but the prevailing wisdom is that’s what’s to be expected. It’s brought my feelings of loneliness and sadness right to the top.

...is my Achilles’ heel. I just started a new program (www.shrinkyourself.com) to try to overcome unhealthy patterns. I’ve gained about 10 pounds over the past six months and I’m feeling so unhealthy.

At about 145. It’s not a completely unhealthy weight, but since I’m only 5’3”, I’d rather weigh closer to 130. For me, it’s a triumph to not gain weight, in this month before divorce court.
I have fallen out of the regular gym habit, and am now an “occasional” gym member. My eating is much more balanced, and if I can sort out my schedule so I’m going to the gym regularly, I know I will lose the weight fairly easily.

My son actually commented that I looked “fit” today. Yay!

In a new, better location, with 24/7 hours, and shiny new everything.
I can’t wait. It’s been closed for 2 weeks and walking around the neighborhood isn’t cutting it.
I can’t wait to hit the elliptical!!!
I’ve lost about 8 pounds in the past 3 weeks from just addressing the emotional eating. I can’t wait to augment that with regular exercise once again.

I’m not doing anything rigid, just being very aware of what I eat and saying “no” more. Not eating at night, trying to get more fruits and veggies, going to the gym – what “they” tell you to do. Not that I won’t have what I want, but if I have a piece of cake now, it means I can’t have cookies later. It seems to be working for me.
