I’m fifteen and I’ve come to realize through research that after college I want to earn a work visa and come to Sweden. It sounds… phenominal, for me. Maybe not for everyone, but definately for me. :]
How to move to sweden
How I did it: I had always wanted to spend some time living in sweden. Was born here and spoke a bit of the language since childhood. Wanted my kids to experience the people, the place, the european culture. Abruptly decided that if I didn't just do this, it would not happen. Moved here in August 2008 and have taken many months to achieve residency, personnumerar, schools but well worth it. We all speak good swedish now and hopefully will become fully fluent. There are so many great things that swedes do, value. Very safe place, excellent schooling. We are having a little trouble finding our niche (active always with lots of friends around, lots to do) but hope to soon. We hope to stay at least one year, possibly two and then dream list number 2 is to live in Barcelona.

Been to Sweden 3 times already, I was impressed every time by how friendly people are and what a beautiful country it is.
So once I finish my University studies, Sweden, here I come!

... I looked at a couple of forum threads about moving to Sweden. So, basically, I read 3 pages of material about moving to Sweden.
One thing, one thing.

1) Closer to 1:1 ratio of money made by men and women, than the US.
2) You may have to wait forever for medical care, but at least everyone has a chance at it.

Yes, I want to move to Sweden and maybe even get a second citizenship in Sweden.
It’s kind of the big dream of my life and I already started learning Swedish, so maybe one day it really will come true.
My ticket is booked and I am moving in January 2008!! I know it’s going to be virtually impossible to have enough cash to stay there for very long, but hey – you’ve gotta try!
