I’ve noticed that I have stronger arm strength in boxing but I still need to work on it. My arms get tired very easily. Need to work more on energy I suppose.

At this point it’s just a matter of sticking to it. I’m working on it and I think I can if I don’t get bored too soon. :D
I set up my home gym on the weekend. There’s not much to it. Just an elliptical and a weight bench. (I have a weight machine too but it’s not set up right and I can’t figure it out.) But I also set up an old TV and DVD player for my cardio. I even have a mirror for shadow boxing. Pretty nifty!
Anyway, I have a basic routine that I started and plan to adjust along the way. I also have to consider my boxing in my routine with the rest periods and whatnot so I’m not totally sure what to do on that but I’m sure I’ll figure it out.
I’m reading Weight Training for Dummies because I’m sort of basically blind on this (also it’s much cheaper than hiring a personal trainer). It goes through a number of different excersises and types of workouts.
Time and motivation: Seems to be the main factor that stops people from working out. Well I’m tired of feeling tired so I do hope that that is enough to keep me going. Time though? We’ll see.
I started weight training again today. Did my first session in a while on the upper body. Hopefully I’ll start to feel some results soon.
I love that feeling of sore muscles after not working out for a while because I feel like I’m being active again.
Tomorrow is cardio – bike and treadmill.
