Act Improv on Granville Island

My performance with the Impromaniacs showed me that I have a heck of a lot to learn, but it went well enough. Gotta get more pumped beforehand, trust my fellow actors more, and above all, keep my concentration in the game so I can observe all that I need to to make the best decisions in how to move on the scenes (or not move, as the case may be!)

Finally performing with the Impromaniacs on Thursday, and earlier this year I took part in an experimental theatre improvisation directed study as a ‘director’, so I’m getting experience. Next step is to keep at what I’m doing, and add spending time with the UVic improv club come September.

When I worked on Granville Island, four years ago, I saw their shows a few times, and really wished I could take part.

Now, I’m part of the Victoria equivalent group, so I’m getting there. This probably won’t happen this year, but I’m moving in the right direction for awesome.
