locochona is starting a great week... !
I’ve gone to the gym almost every day for that past 2 weeks. I realized going often is just NOT ENOUGH to make me love it, or make it this GREAT FUN habit.
On the contrary, I noticed last week that while I was vaguely aware of results (don’t get winded quite as easily as before,more energy, etc)at the same time I was just getting bored.
Like, yuck, I have time to go, I don’t want to miss a day, but uuugh, how boring.
So I started doing research. And I found some interesting things… !!! Like this article from Psychology Today.
What I got from that article and a few others out there comes down to mindfulness – being there in the moment, observing and appreciating the immediate benefits and experience of body movin’.
I’ll write more later, but today I went and tried to apply several of the things I learned about and … I think it worked!

ive been working out for about three weeks and it feels good, but i want to love it and look forward to it. any ideas?
I would love to truly be able to enjoy exercise. Crave it even. I see people who jog, and wish that I could enjoy doing it.
