How to take an overnight train ride

How I did it: I was in france and took a trian ride to germany, it was cramped but there is nothing like wakeing up in a new place. I love to travel and moving to my new destination while i sleep is just an up side. |

How I did it: In August of 2007, I went to visit my dad in Colorado. I decided I'd take a cross-country train ride there, drive a rental car 3 hours south to his town, drive back, and fly home. I left from Dyer, IN which took me to Union Station in Chicago. You really don’t feel very good the next day, unless the very first things you do are shower and nap. Not to mention the fact that overnight trains seem to attract sketchy people. Or that could just be me.
