I was spending the night in jail, actually, and this girl came in at around 12:30, crying. She was scared and sad and I gave her my blanket and asked her what happened and everything. We talked for a while, then slept (alllll there is to do in jail), then woke up for breakfast and talked some more. Her name was Jill, which I finally found out at our hearing that morning.

It was pretty neat, and I felt really close to her – although that might have been the environment rather than the anonymity.
