jump in puddles

Felt really good! I had no umbrella, the rain was getting heavier as I got off the bus, and I had a 10 minute walk home. What else could I do? 3 years ago

Today I had soccer training in the absolute pouring rain….freezing but soooo fun with jumped in so many puddles and got muddy and saturated, we want to slide in the mud but our soccer coach said we couldn’t, but I still reached my goal!!!!!!! 3 years ago

Yesterday it was raining while I was walking the dogs and I saw this HUGE puddle and had the urge to jump and splash in it but voted against…

Today I say the same puddle and just went for then just started jumping in all the puddles I could find..Yes I am very wet and my legs are cold…brrrr

It was amazing-brought me back to being a little kid again.
We were walking back from the pool and it just started pouring and I was just splashing through not caring what anyone thought. It was wonderful. I felt so free. 4 years ago

Okay, this was kind of fun. I haven’t jumped in a puddle since college, and then my sense of enjoyment was dulled by the amount of alcohol im my system. Here’s to more puddle-jumping in my future. 5 years ago

and underneath that, in a different handwriting

I work at West Lake Drive In, a rootbeer float stand. We work outside all day and when it rains you make no money, because nobody comes in and you just get soaked and cold. Today it rained all day. It was a good rain though, not too cold, not blowing in your face, and no lightening. I would rather have fun and say screw it, i’m gonna get wet, enjoy it. So, by the end of the day my legs were muddy and I actually had fun. I walked through the puddles to and from cars, and I stood in them splashing my feet in my flip flops. We joked and laughed, and didn’t do so bad tip wise. I took it as I’m having fun hanging out in the rain with Christina. If I had been at home, I would have stayed inside and maybe watched a movie, never wanting to get wet. 5 years ago

my neighbors think i’m nuts, but I LOVE to run through the puddles along the road in front of their houses…and I know that they’re just sitting inside wishing they would have the guts to do it too…by the way? i walk in the heat of the sun with my umbrella too! .. I love it, ‘cause it gives them something to talk about…wonder what in the world they’re doing inside all day? They’re really missin’ out!
It used to be really more fun though, when Guenevere and Lancelot, my ducks, used to join in the fun…
