finish scanning my family's photos

I’ve been steadily working on this project. I finally got all the family pictures organized both physically and on the computer.

I’ve taken a break from it because I’m getting ready to sell my house and move to another state. But I’ll be back at it.

Now I need to separate them out, add titles, and create a CD for everyone… and I’m sure there will be more photos coming from my mom!

after a long break, i’m back at scanning again.

now i just have to remember why i had photos sorted into various boxes.

I scanned in several photos today (see my genealogy post) and printed out copies for family members. I might buy a couple frames to go with them. I don’t get much of a chance to do the scanning and editing with taking care of an 8 month old who now loves to crawl all around the floor, but when I do find those moments in time to get stuff like this done, it feels really good.

I went through and sorted out all the photos that don’t have negatives.

From those, I’ve started on the really old ones that are of genealogical interest to the rest of the family line.

Alot of the people need to be identified before the older generation passes away.

Next, I’ll do my immediate family.

Then I’ll start on the negatives.
