I want to look like one of those underwear models. I’ve got a nice face, it will be a real waste not to have a great body to go with it.
How to become fit
How I did it: I only defied my mum to compete in the ‘omloop van Gent’, a run trough Ghent for 10 kms. It’s a yearly event in may.
But
it’s not because I can’t run 10 kms, I’m not fit. I ride my bike to
school everyday, which is 5 kms one-way. I don’t have a car or other
motorised vehicles, so everywhere I’m going, I’m going by bike, feet or
using public transportations. I often dance too.
If I’m fit to do what-ever I’d want to do, I’m fit enough for me.
Therefore:
I didn’t become fit, I just realised I was already fit when I wanted to
become. My goal has failed, but I am fit, so nothing to be ashamed of.

I am able to walk easily and assuredly, without having to stop for breath frequently. I choose to walk for fun. I enjoy playing games such as squash and tennis and love my daily swim.

It was for 6 years that I ve made a decision to become fit.
being healthy is more than skin deep. by taking better care of myself i will be showing myself that it is time to get things back in track
5/1/07 – Today, I am going to join a health club. I hope that this helps me to stay motivated and helps me get in shape so that I can climb Devil’s Tower in the fall when I go out to see my parents.
5/22/07 – Okay, last Thursday I joined a gym. So far I really enjoy it. The personal trainer really gave me a motivational talk when I met with her one on one and then she said I was accountable to her for what I eat (which is what I really need). I am on a very strict diet and was taught how to work the weight machines. I am amazed at how much sodium I was taking in every day. Yikes! Since sodium blocks the release of water and fat from your body, limiting the sodium intake only makes sense.

However, I have not given up!!
I have friends that have quit and have decided to be happy in the state that they are currently in (the one where they can’t go hiking and only visit the beach in winter). While I think it is great that they have such contentment, I am more at ease fighting for what I want.
So with birthday resolve, I again say “I WANT TO BECOME FIT” & I will do what it takes to accomplish this goal!

I am having a really hard time remembering to eat. But i have managed to go to work out every day that i was supposed to. i have lost appx. 20 lbs. it goes up and down daily. i think i have lost about 2 inches on my waist tho.
