pick-up in living room before going to bed

I suddenly saw the ficus tree as creating more sense of too much stuff in my house and put her outside when she is dying of the cold. I feel sad to see her go but I never really got a hold of making it a happy, healthy plant. And the family room feels larger and more open without the bush in the corner.

This caused me to attack some more clutter. Gone!

Wonderful: bed is made, dishes are all washed and I am ready to start having a day.

I am tired and ready to go to bed but I wanted to note how nice and clean the kitchen is looking. I have rearranged a few things and created more clear space. It is much more encouraging to see flat surfaces without stuff on them.
