Take a vacation with my husband

Doesn’t matter if I’m able to take a vacation by myself, with a friend, my husband, or my kids. I need a vacation. I’ve been working since I was 15 years old and never, once, took a vacation. It’s about time! Don’t you think?

We went off for our 43rd anniversary back in July. We did not make reservations – wrong thing to do around the 4th of July. Our anniversary is July 6th. Could not get a room where we wanted to stay, so we took one a town away – another wrong! Too far to go to the places you wanted to go. We spent the first day eating out and doing a little shopping. Could not get the Internet to stay on – boring! When we got up the next morning (our anniversary), we decided to come home. Much nicer here and we went out to eat at a restaurant where we would have gone, had we stayed where we were. It was much more enjoyable and our bed sleeps much better. We’ve learned to be content at home. :)

SOME DAY!!!

Vacations will have to wait, since my husband had an operation and was in the hospital for almost 2 weeks. He has to get better, and the money has to come in. :) But, I’m ready to go now!

Probably not anytime soon, but I’m working on it. Just a weekend away would be nice.

Not any closer to this goal! He recently bought a big truck (7 mos ago), leased into a company, and they haven’t had much for him to do lately. That doesn’t go far with wanting a vacation.

Hard to get my husband to leave his work and go on vacation. We need time away from home and work together.
