I believe the word love is similar to the word faith – everyone has different interpretations of the word faith and what it means to them. Some people toss around faith like it isn’t any big deal and others only use it for very specific items they are talking about. Faith in love is another awesome thing to think about – how much faith do we have to put into love – a lot in my opinion – especially when it comes to love of another human being. Our expectations play a lot into the faith of someone else who loves us.

falling hurts
I find the english language – well any language – the way humans communicate very interesting. Why do we say “falling in love” I think falling hurts so why would I want to associate falling with love? I think we should call this something else – like “being in love” or “I am finding myself loving you” By changing the way we use words around love we’ll change the “face” of love and treat it better and with respect. It is when we loose faith in it and abuse it that we get farther and farther away from understanding it. Or do we?
A bit of thinking out loud

for ways to post entries on this that are original because “love” has been so done! I have been anxiously awaiting the next postings at stewed tomatoes and realized that my closest friend has posted something that directly relates to this goal of mine!

We often think of the heart organ when thinking of love – I think this should be changed and associate the mind when thinking of love. Like little brain/head valentines. I Love you with all my Mind. Doesn’t that sound much more powerful than I love you with all my heart?
Why did the heart get connected to love? I think it is an affair that might need to be put to rest and let the mind do more of the love work around here.

finding it...
I just finished reading The Tale of Despereaux and in this tale the author has a saying that she uses over and over. The passage varies but is similar to the last one I remember reading and goes like this:
“Love, as we have already discussed, is a powerful, wonderful, ridiculous thing, capable of moving mountains. And even spools of thread.”
Love is like those three adjectives. Powerful, Wonderful and Ridiculous. I love that love is like that. That is one reason why I think love is so wonderful. Love and Life I feel are interchangeable. In order to have Life one must Love. I wonder if this is true? A purposeful life is filled with Love? Is love filled with a purposeful Life? Hummmmm…..

has something written on the right of their profile and I really liked it. So… I created a goal from it! I’d like to explore the word love and learn from the exploration of the word. Thanks Theskysthelimit – you rock and are an inspiration.
