How to look after my skin
How I did it: Well, I kept up a routine and made sure I washed my face lots too. :) You have to make sure you moisturize as well as whatever cleansing stuff you have. Get some stuff that you can use in the bath/shower too. Make sure you wash your face, then cleanse and moisturize before you go to bed and when you wake up. A third time can't help if you have the time. :P

I have started regularly cleansing… the moisturising hasn’t come along yet though…
portraprincess i have lost 18lbs so far!
I have now brought some Clinique anti-blemish body spray.
DAY ONE of using it is today, the 8th march.

I want the 3 step programe of clinique and i want another jar of the cream which stops darkness under the eyes, i also want a spray they make which is for the body and clears up any dry skin or imperfect skin and leaves it amazingly soft without any blemishes or spotty rashes. ITS AMAZING.
I cant afford it though so im going to have to wait until my 21st birthday! xxx
I have pretty good skin, but I’m starting to get older now, and I know that when I bother to cleanse and moisturise twice a day, and use all the masks and oils that I’m forever getting, my skin can look amazing.
So, this weekend I’m going to organise all of my products, and make a routine of how I will use everything. Use all the samples I have of stuff, decide what I want to invest in.

And have been religiously taking off my make up each night and I gotta say my skin is looking tonnes better already.
Now I just need to use proper cleanser at night instead of those make-up remover wipe thingys ….
I neglect my largest organ and often mutilate it too. I’ve been wanting to add this goal since the start of my 43T jaunt but have been to ashamed to add it!
I have a pimple squeezing fetish and hack until it scabs and it takes ages to heal!
At the moment my nose is red and is flaky – looks like I’ve been sunburnt. I’ve been moisturising it to get rid of the dry skin but I think that has just caused more blackheads and pimples. I also have a scab on my forehead (the remnants of a zit) which looks like a bindi! My lips are often dry too so need to work on that too.
Oh joy!
- NO SQUEEZING OR PICKING!
- Avoid mirrors
- Cleanse morning and night (I’m often too tired to do this before bed)
- Only wear make-up when going out (and only if necessary) and remove and cleanse as soon as I get home.
- Drink more water
- Eat more fruit
- Eat less fatty foods (eg brownies!)
- Put on a facial mask at least once a month
- Apply lip balm several times a day
- Apply eye cream once a day to reduce bags under my eyes
I’m hoping this goal won’t have to be on my list for long. And perhaps some of these actions will contribute to the hone my curves goal

Actually applied an overnight treatment last night and my skin feels great for it. I’ve been washing my face regularly too.
Drinking more water (and less tea / coffee / soft drink / booze) REALLY helps – it’s 3.45pm and I’ve had 2L already!
Well, I have been cleaning my face every night, but I want to research the correct way to clean my face.
Many times I’ve vowed to take better care of my skin, only to last a day or two and fall back into bad habits. This time I really want to succeed.
I read somewhere that it takes about 30 days to form a new habit. I’m going to give it a try. I’ve posted my skin care list on the bathroom mirror as a prompt. Some may laugh, my husband is, but I won’t be put off!
I’ll report back in 30 days and see whether the new habit sticks!
