redo my website

I’m getting ideas together for my new site as I want to include what is current in my life.

It’s all a mess. I have a private website and a pro one. And I stopped updating the private one, because … I didn’t know were to begin or end. Now I see I have to build my sites together as one. But it is so much work.

The relaunch of my website has been accomplished. Sure there are pages that I am going to add more material to as time goes on but its complete enough to stand for the moment. Anyone who is on a real name basis with me and wants to check it out let me know and I’ll send you a link.

I haven’t gotten very far with my site. I finally did find a place where I can sell my earrings for now, until I get my site finished. I tried eBay, and that didn’t work out at all. I’m glad I have somewhere to sell my stuff, but the downside is that it may take away my motivation to get some work done on my own site!

I got distracted from the task. A wonderful man/musician just retired from my school, so I made a site for his band as a retirement present. Now, finally, I’m back to redoing mine.

Every time you do it marks a milestone. A sophomoric instance of love and loathing.
If you are going to redo your website, make sure you know what you want it to accomplish. I just finished mine, but it took about a year, because I couldn’t get myself focused on specifically what it needed to do. Once I did that, it took three days.

i re-do my website once a year if i can…would do it more if i had the time…

I was really bored yesterday, so I decided to read some more about HTML and play around making my page. I have been pretty surprised and happy with myself and the things I figured out. There is still a lot I don’t know and things I want to know how to do, but I’m glad I’m getting more of the basics down. At this rate, I’m thinking maybe if I get everything put together for the most part, someone who knows more can come in and help me tweek everything and do any little things I didn’t know how to do myself!

I e-mailed someone almost a week ago about helping me with my website, but I still haven’t heard back from them.

I was reading some info on html today, and at the beginnging I was thinking, hmm…this doesn’t sound too bad, but then it just became more and more complicated, and I have no idea where to start. That’s why I want to get something started that I can study and edit myself.

I wish I could just start from scratch and do the whole thing myself, but I’m not sure if I can. I’ll have to keep reading and see what I can learn. I really hope I get a return e-mail though…

I e-mailed someone about helping me with the website…now I just have to wait for their response. I am so impatient though. I wish I could do this myself, but I don’t have any skills in that area. Maybe one day!
