How I did it: It took me exactly 2 years to do it, after having gotten my Associates degree from a community college. I thought I had more classes covered under the graduation requirements, but after my first year (at only 12 units a semester) I found out I had another 3 classes I needed to take. After finishing my 8 week summer courses I will have 58 credits. That is almost half way! Yay!

I am currently applying to the u of a. Just another semester in this long long journey. I hope that when I come back from the peace corps I can just fly through three semesters and be done with it.

So I have done a couple of online college searches and narrowed it down some. Now I have a list of colleges in the states I want to live, with the degree I want to get and by the amount of tuition. But that list is still way too long. Now I need to figure out how to trim it down to a manageable few. I don’t really have a preference on class size or suburban/rural area…so now what?

This goal just feels like it keeps slipping away. The longer I go without being in the college environment the easier it is for me to make excuses. And I feel like the older I get the harder it is for me to go back. So for now I will just try and get my mind back on track and get motivated again. Would really like to have my degree.

I’m going to school right now, to get my BA in Behavioural Psychology. I’m only half way through my second year… But I feel like my education is at a standstill – I just want to graduate already!
Ok, so it was a while ago, like over a year now but I finished school, am totally done now and I am so glad because I needed to be done… YA!
it has been seven long years… and i have done it!!! with a 3.5 grade point average even. thank you to all who have supported and encouraged me… it is a great accomplishment for all!
If I can finish out this semester, next year should be easier. Then I’ll have my B.A. in English!
