the planets were in line last night and I started making a little zine-style comic out of a recurring journal and sketchbook theme. so far so good! not exactly an awesome sweeping graphic novel, but maybe that will come in time. I will be pleased if i finish my little zineypoo by the end of the summer.

This has been my goal for a while, and I have no excuse really for not practicing or coming up with more ideas… but I do want to go to art school one day for sequential art, I think. (So expensiveeee…)

I’ve got a good 12 weeks off college for the summer, so I thought I might as well get a comic done… there’s this stylish site zudacomics.com that is part of DC comics, you can submit 8 page web comics (that have got to be original stories and characters). Each month 12 comics get put up and the veiwers vote on which is the best!

who hasn’t wanted to have their own comic strip. I’m working on putting up a comic strip on my blog. I’ve only done a few, but hopefully, putting up lots of drawings and sketches on my blog every day will motivate me to do more.

Oh, I really, REALLY have to just DO this one of these freeking days!
