i’ve been a vegetarian for 7 years, but i recently gave it up because of boxing. but hopefully soon, i’ll get back on track
its gonna be hard because now I am ADDICTED to steak
How I did it: There really isn't much to say about how I did this. Basically, one day I decided " I'm not going to eat meat again " and I didn't. I read up on everything I needed to know regarding vegetarian nutrition. there are a lot of books out there that will help you through this transition. Get a few vegetarian cookbooks - you will notice that the foods taste so much better because they are full of tasty, fresh ingredients. You'll never want to go back to eating meat. There are a lot of substitution meat products that taste just like the real thing. I recommend the brand Gardenburger. Their meatballs are better than homemade!
Lessons & tips: Make sure the protein you eat are complete proteins (proteins that contain all essential amino acids).
Eat foods fortified with B12 and iron or take a vitamin.
Don't rely solely on cheese for protein. its high in fat and cholesterol
Resources: Watch documentaries. Read books. Don't be afraid to ask questions.

I’m resigned to being a fish eater, at least for now. I’m still holding this goal in the back of my mind though.

I don’t know what i’ve been waiting for. I’m going to do this now.
I returned to being a vegetarian in Novemember and I’m so glad I did. I feel much better about my WHOLE self. I highly recommend it to all.
I was for awhile, but my family didn’t support me so I quit. Any tips on how to go back?
