How to get a summer job

How I did it: I got a summer job being an Orientation Ambassador at my school. The application and selection process of getting this job was long and a big difficult, but it was definitely worth it! I had to complete my application and go in for an interview, which was very nerve-racking. I was so glad to hear that I got the job. The team that I'll be working with is so wonderful, and I have already enjoyed the time we've spent together. I cannot wait for the summer now; I know that I'm going to enjoy my summer job. I'll have fun doing it and get paid too! :)

well it’s not a summer job,actually,it’s a training.i’m willing to get experience, i believe it’s going to help me get a job easier in the future inshalah!

so my friend kept telling me a few months ago about how some guy offered her a job working up at his construction site, and NONE of the other million places i applied were hiring, so i gave her a call and asked about it. she called him, we met with him to find out what to do, and it looks like we’re hired!
hehe so i guess turning in applications is not the best way to get a job! its all about having connections with people…and then once your resume looks good, other people will actually like you lol.
i’m really glad this worked out. $9/hr too! woot. and we choose our own hours…it sounds nice.
