How I did it: I wrote a stellar resume, made an account at snagajob.com and applied to over 20 places. I got frustrated for weeks that I wasn't getting any interviews, then I remembered that a local grocery store advised students to apply upon graduation. I applied online, called the same day to follow up, and two hours later I got an interview! A few days after that I got offered the job. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I went back and asked my old boss if ashe had any hours free. I was really nervous. Since me and Steve broke up I lost a lot of confidence and self-esteem. I need to get over this. How I did it: Applied many places... I was willing to do more jobs for less hours and I ended up getting a job as an usher for a summer theatre. I'm happy with that even though the hours aren't exactly where I'd like them to be. Read how I did it…

well it’s not a summer job, actually,it’s a training.i’m willing to get experience, i believe it’s going to help me get a job easier in the future inshalah!
so it’s going to take a month, 2days down! 28 to go! lol
so my friend kept telling me a few months ago about how some guy offered her a job working up at his construction site, and NONE of the other million places i applied were hiring, so i gave her a call and asked about it. she called him, we met with him to find out what to do, and it looks like we’re hired!
hehe so i guess turning in applications is not the best way to get a job! its all about having connections with people…and then once your resume looks good, other people will actually like you lol.
i’m really glad this worked out. $9/hr too! woot. and we choose our own hours…it sounds nice.
we’re starting monday!

I think I found at least some temporary work with my old carpentry gig! I start next Monday!
Tomorrow I just have to take a 3-hour test and a drug test and I should have the job!
I’m really excited, because the rejection has been difficult to deal with.
gotten some applications, turned some in…but most places i talk to say they aren’t hiring. :( pooey! i just got 3 more to fill out but who knows…if all else fails, i’ll work at mcdonalds! haha
