get a summer job

yayyayayayy!

My 12 euro an hour job didn’t fall through. My aunt had said she’d call me back and of course she didn’t. And I couldn’t get another one because I don’t have a car to get to the city and yes, there are buses but because I live SO far out in the middle of nowhere, I’d need a car to get to a bus…

Frig it.

I completely forgot to add an entry to this. I got a job as a Legislatite Aide for a State Rep. in the Texas House of Representatives! A dream job for me, the political/debate mutant. LOL I am very happy and grateful. Sometimes i work 12 hour days and 6 day weeks, but it is all worth it. I have learned so much that books can’t teach. I started off as a 2 day-a-week volunteer; but after my second day, I got hired. It’s still an internship. Just paid now. I’m enjoying it while it lasts.

I’m too young right now and don’t have my working papers yet.

I babysit a lot because everyone in my town has small kids. Does babysitting count? It’s the only job my dad will let me have this summer so I’m going to say that I’ve done it.

instead of being at home all the time i would love 2 be out and about and doing something! :) i would love 2 get a summer job ver muchoo!

But in one I don’t have set hours, so I get called whenever they want me :) and one’s in a local shopping centre :D

I’ve got a summer job. It’s really rather dull. Its basically data entry. Sure, theres a lot of internet time (which really helps), but its sometimes a bit depressing.

So, just as a constant reminder of the untold wealth [or at least paid off overdraft], I’m reminding myself to SEE THIS THROUGH. Last week of work will be the week ending on the 15th of August. Let’s hope I stick with it!

Scored my first job working with intellectually disabled adults. I love it.

Orientation is Monday.

Which means I still get to go to Summerfest too!!!
