collect something

I decided to collect antique charms. Vintage charms, actually. I only have one so far, but it counts! It feels good to have something to look for specifically when I go antiquing.

Bottles and wine corks. Also am collecting shot glasses from other countries and magnets from favorite cities.

It can be a little pricey at times but I love collecting and wearing vintage swimsuits from the 40s and 50s. I have about 5 so far, but I plan on collecting more. It’s been a while since I’ve bought one, but maybe I’ll take a look some more, I think it’s due time for a new one.

Get this under control.
Do not go overboard with the EBay thing.
Deal with what you currently own, organze it and get rid of the duplicates.

I am hooked on the trading card game MTG. I have had a small box for several years now and just got back into it. I now have 1000’s. I guess that counts as a collection. I am organizing them and rating them for value.

I will collect something else I am sure but for now this is a start.

A couple of days ago I realized that I’ve never collected anything, so it’s finally time to start. I just don’t know what I’d like to collect, hopefully the idea will come to me soon.

I used to collect things; comic books, baseball cards, pins. Now I am 40 and it would seem that collecting would be a little silly to start now but I have an urge to collect something. I don’t know what. When I see it I will know.

I was going to collect barf bags from different airlines. I started with one from a C-130 military transport. It is the same bag used on the NASA space shuttle but then I found a guy on the internet who already has like a gajillion bags from everywhere and I decided to collect something different.

Still don’t know…

When I say collect something, I mean to find passion and enjoyment in it as well. Something cool yet meaningful. I just have a few ideas about this, but still contemplating.
