I purchased surfing lessons for Patrick and they allow for a companion to join. I’m not sure if I’ll participate, but hey, I bought the lessons. :)

This is a longtime desire of Patrick’s, to learn to surf. Originally I had planned on using the proceeds from my paintings to buy Patrick a surfboard… then it became obvious that he’d probably need lessons. After much contemplation I think I’ve decided to join him. The sport scares me just a bit… sharks and all, but it could really give me an excellent excuse to visit the beach – time to go practice!
Next step after the move? Find a good local instructor for both of us.
