purplefibermom feels hung-over even though I didn't drink anything last night
I’m definitely trying harder and doing more than I would have imagined I could. I’m actually seeing some results already! My jeans are looser at the waist and I think my posture is better. I’m definitely more body-aware at the moment than I have been in a long time.

I thought I was going to puke this morning. I am so out shape. This guy is pushing me to do more than I ever would on my own. And I’m doing it! It is definitely worth it (though those aren’t my thoughts at the time ;) ) Came home with jello legs, but now I’m feeling great – and proud of myself.

this morning for my session. In the past when I tried to work out, I went to the gym and did my stuff – but never looked forward to it. It was too easy to make excuses and not show up.
Showing up is definitely 80% – at least until this is such a habit that I can’t imagine not going.

I’ve been using every excuse in the book to avoid exercising. But I’m not getting any younger. I know if I don’t get into a good habit of exercising I won’t be getting any older either ;)
I turn 50 this year. It is about time to do something for myself for once. I always focus on everyone else first. Now that my foot is pretty much healed, I’ve run out of excuses.
I found a great trainer in a real gym. Went for my first session today at 7 am. This is a great time for me to go – not crowded and I can’t use all the busyness of later times in the day for an excuse not to go. He took measurements, did my body fat (eek), had me tell him my injuries, my goals & expectations… He is setting up a program for me. I’ve got 90 day goals of losing 8 inches and a certain percent of bodyfat. Did my first workout with his guidance. I’m motivated and confident! Yay me!
