made dinner tonight, and managed to bring my lunch to work each day this week – well, had stuff at work so made it up there.
so i’m moving in the right direction!
money and budgeting is a good motivator!

yep, yesterday turned out ok! Did a bit of a shop and actually started eating some of the food i bought! now that is a big deal for me lately : )
I had berries (fresh blackberries, blueberries, strawberries) on yogurt, then an apple, oh, and a banana with breakkie.
I still am struggling with when to eat – figuring out that even if i’m not hungry i need to do it. thanks for all the suggestions below, i really need to get those deli meals and ready made stuff.. then just eat like a robot at a certain time!
i dont know if it is early sobriety or what, but I’m OVER this funk.
Month 1 – sugar. coffee. sugar. coke. sugar. takeaway. more sugar. Repeat.
Month 2 – Repeat month one
Month 3 – woohoo I’m finally starting to crave fruit. Hey, at least it’s natural sugar. I’ve also started getting those shakes when I’ve not eaten regularly. That is a good sign – it means my body is starting to even itself out.
The only problem is I just can’t decide what to eat; so generally I’ll just eat maccas. Even that is better than the first 2 months when my head was so crazy i seriously could not decide what to eat – so I just ate nothing. The thoughts in my head – CRAZY. I never want to go through early sobriety again. Ever.
I’m grateful that at one of my first meetings, a girl in AA told me to not try and worry about diet at the same time as getting sober, and thank god I listened! But now I’m starting to even out.. but I still can’t decide what to eat. Maccas is getting old. and it’s getting expensive. So I will try to get out of this food funk!
Suggestions welcome!
