How I did it: I had two friends that were told they would die soon. One had two weeks to live, the other had 18 months. Both had cancer that was too strong for their immune system to battle. The first had two weeks to live, cancer had spread over 90% of his body and he had already survived cancer once going through the chemo. His body was not able to go through that again. The doctors all said to make the final arrangements.I introduced him to… Read how I did it…

How I did it: - A friend of mine tried to kill herself (pill overdose), and she called me at around 5 am. I got up, and thankfully she was at the hospital in time.- My grandfather had an acute lung edema, and I took him to the hospital (the most daring driving experience of my life, btw). According to the doctor, 15 minutes later would have been too late. Read how I did it…

How I did it: I was majoring in Respiratory Therapy, and when the time for clinical rotations came along, I felt so unprepared. But on my first day, during my first clinical rotation in a hospital, a CODE BLUE was announced and all Respiratory Therapists were called to the 3rd floor. I had to put the skills and techniques I've learned to use, so I jumped in and started to bag the patient with a hand ventilator. I noticed my clinical p… Read how I did it…

I naturally love helping people. At times it goes far beyond helping someone eat or find a job or even through a rough part in life.
TO save someone’s life often means you are either putting their needs before yours or sometimes even putting their life first.
I have saved many lives different ways. Some were suicidal, some had cancer or tumors, some were in immediate danger, swimming, fires, gang members, and more…
As long as I am here, I hope to help people.
iloveeverything so indecisive
i cheated a little on this one bcuz i saved it before i put it on my list so it really shouldn’t count lol
Now this would be probably the greatest accomplishment of my life. I don’t expect anyone to give me advice, but it would still be nice.
liveurelife2992 BREE BREE!
not planning on doing this anytime soon, but when the time comes, and if it does come, ill be ready. think of all the people who die everyday from freak accidents that could be saved.
I’d like to save someone’s life to sort of validate my own, I don’t care who’s life it is or how daring me saving their life is but I’d like to save as many lives as I possibly can. Not that I’d like people to constantly be in peril around me but if someone is in trouble I’d like to think I can help.

I found this to be a humbling experience. I felt that I was just the instrument and I was not the main person who was responsible. I am really glad that my friend is still alive.
I think saving a life is rather tricky word , is saving a life like in tv when someone pulls the other away from the train rail or what
its actually hard to define when you actually save a life
is it a thing that can be achieved or its a thing that you reach in your head ?

For right now I’m going to focus on trying to donate blood more often. My school typically hosts a blood drive each semester, but I’ve only given twice.
Sometime in the future I’d like to do more, such as donate blood marrow or an organ. I also want to take first aid classes and become CPR certified so I can be genuinely helpful in an emergency.
