Well I asked the advice of several people and ended up buying a tester pot of mineral foundation by Lily Lolo.

I was told it would do around 10 applications but I got about 2 in lol, I guess that’s mainly because I wanted more coverage so used more layers.
I was really impressed with it when I put it on over a primer by Rimmel. It seemed to cover my skin without making it look cakey or powdery which was a pleasant surprise seeing as it’s a mineral powder and I used a fair bit. I used the powder over the top too. It didn’t make blemishes invisible though, so I’ve bought Boi-ing by benefit which should arrive soon so I can put it all to the test!
I’m not sure it lasted quite as I wanted it to though, but I’m going to buy a new Kabuki brush and see if that makes a difference as they one got was cheap and prickly and seemed to take makeup off rather than put it on. i found a goreous one by Too faced that was so soft and lovely. I just don’t have the monies right now, but when I do I shall buy the brush, and a full sized pot of both the foundation and powder, as they felt so wonderously none chemically -

Good Enough

Pefect may be too strong a word – but it’s good enough. I use True Match by L’Oreal. My color is C6 – soft sable. It blends well and comes with a matching powder. I like it!

I don’t need an expensive one, I just need one that matches my skin-tone properly and doesn’t wipe off on my clothes all the time. I’m pretty sure I could find a decent one for about $30, it’s just a matter of trying out the brands.

I don’t need it. I got good skin. It’s glowing most of the time. I don’t want to spend 80-100 on good foundation.
I’ll stick to my sheer cover for the occasional day wear and my cheap maybelline shake to active foundation lol
And for party times, I’ll just wear the revlon skin reflecting lights foundation. and steal some of my mum’s expensive makeup.
ehh it’s all good

Do I really want to splurge 80$ on foundation? Would better brands like clinique, bobbi brown, mac, armani, etc.. make my skin look better?
I want those reflecting foundations.
Max factor is not good for my skin
Mineral foundation (sheer cover) – excellent! Doesn’t feel heavy, doesn’t clog my pores. But I used up all that speacial concealor so i can only use it on my good skin days.
Maybelline thing – that liquid that turns into powder. Really great. Good coverage but it wears off quickly.
Maybeline matte mousse or something – really thick. I always feel caked although it’s soo light. The coverage is too thick and I don’t look natural.
hmmmmmmm
