I’m doing this right now. The kit is here and ready to go. Lets see how it turns out.
How I did it: I went to AC Moore and picked up some tee's and a tie dye kit. And I mixed everything, I had to wait 24 hours for the shirts to soak, and then I put the colors on in different patterns and it came out pretty nice. So, next time I'll try different techniques.
Lessons & tips: Line your tub with plastic.
Resources: AC Moore store and Hanes.

kate_the_great is a rough gem
I did it last Saturday. I didn’t really have a clue what I was doing, but it was fun and my shirt turned out suprisingly great!
I’m wearing it right now, actually.
www.dharmatrading.com is a great website for quality dyes and other supplies. some of the stuff you can buy in the stores isn’t very good and will rinse out after a few washes.
i`ve been wanting to do tie-dye for so long cause i think it looks groovy in a blacklight.. really psychedelic! now i found white sheets and a pack of dye and i`m searching sites for methods. :)
at Wal-Mart and my 3 yr old son and I did some shirts. He had fun and likes to show off the cool shirt that he made. He really likes it when we go somewhere and we both wear our shirts together. :D
april nicole is sleepy
I was part of the tye dying project at school- we dyed white t-shirts for our play (which I was also in!) and had a blast doing it!
