Start going to church regularly

I’m back in church. It feels good! I stepped away for so long, far and fast.

I think I am finally back on track. It has taken me a whole year of “starts” to actually get where Im at.

I go occasionally to my “home” church, but I’ve found a new one too. The music really sucks and the sermons are not near as good, BUT they offer TONS of interesting and fun ways for my kids and me to get involved! I like that!

I think I was just really spoiled with Pastor Gary and his “gift of gab”, but…. we are involved and that is what counts the most!!

I went to a service just to go. I got a (church wide) email from the pastor about “change”. Our church has gone thru a COMPLETE change in the past year. I have gone only twice this year and didn’t feel what I needed or wanted or whatever to feel.

Last week I had printed out numerous churches in my area and intended on going here and there to one of these to find a new place. Then the email came. I am going thru some major change in my life.

The sermon was exactly what I needed! I feel good and I am hoping to go on the everyother Sunday that I am not in class.

Hopefully…... my sabaticle is over! Whew! It was a long dry one!!

I went back to church last year then left it as I moved. I went a few time to my local church yet I haven’t been for months now!
I am not too sure on what is the point, I need to see that point clearly again…

Is going good. but the church has changed so much I have no desire to go to service. It may have to do with what is going on in my life. My best friend has started going to church. It happens to be the church that I was baptized at. I think the every other weekend that I am not doing Sunday school I will go with her.

it was great today! The kids were very quiet for such a big class!! That is unusual.

I went to a training class right after.

It was a long day, but it was great to be back.

Now..... just have to get to know the kids and all the people that have changed over the last couple of years.

Get back into a habit again. It feels good already!

I start Sunday school tomorrow. I will also take a new leadership class right after that. I am soooo very excited!!

The two year old class, my favorite!! Wish me luck, bravery, energy and all that stuff!!!! WooHoo!!!

I start Sunday school next weekend! I get the two year old class like I want. It is only for every other week for now- the summer slow.

I am excited to get the class of my choice and hopefully start a routine like I used to have long ago and go regularly like before with my family.

It truely sucks when you have kids and you get so far off track!!

Bad Mom!! BAD! BAD!!

Received the paperwork for church for them to be able to research my background. Hopefully I will hear very soon.

Sometimes it is hard to get myself into a habit. Like going to the gym AND church. Once I start and I get a little off track it is soooo hard to get going again. Finding the time and the motivation. I love going both places.

The church restructured and merged with another church so the financial class was put off- probably until the fall.

Meanwhile tho I will be volunteering in the classroom again. This is my passion!! Usually I love the smaller ones (2 year olds), but I am needed with the 2nd and 3rd graders so that is where I will go.

It will just use some brain power to teach this class. I will really have to study the cirriculum (spelling?) to be able to answer questions properly which is wonderful!!!!

I have decided to start with every other weekend and then go from there!!

I felt a billion times better when I started going back. I think it’s more of a mind thing and the fact of catching yourself before you get too bogged down in your problems. What ever faith you practice, get back into it. Just don’t go back expecting a group of angels to wisk all your problems away because life doesn’t work like that. I still have problems but there so much easier to work through since I started going back and reading my bible more.
