I always wanted a deeper understanding of my heritage as an African American and African American studies in freshman year just didn’t cut it. I want to feel the same soil my ancestors were ripped from and help those same people my ancestors may have been neighbors with. IDK call me a geek, humanitarian, or hard core Peace Corps. wanna be.
