dye my hair pink

Or any of my old crazy colors, actually.
I’ve been wanting to do so ever since I dyed it black for army-needs.

4 more months.

My hair has faded rather a lot now – surprisingly the orange colour at the back faded much faster than the pink in front. My hair’s mostly an interesting peach shade right now, I quite like it too. :)
But I’ll probably be dyeing my hair again sometime soon, maybe even next week. First I just need to choose the next colour, hmm~

I tried dying my hair pink with manic Panic, but I guess I didn’t bleach it enough cause it stayed orange:( And it only lasted for about 3-4 washes. This time I’m going to my hair dresser, he said he can make it real pink, and it won’t fade yay!

I took some new photos today, even though it’s a really cloudy, wet day here. Despite the lack of good lighting I managed to get a photo where you can see the pinkness very well! :) And the orange, too.

My hair’s shock coloured once again and I’m already really loving the new colours! ♥ I think I like my hair the most when it’s dyed like this, with brilliant colours that is. I felt somehow so boring before with the brownish hair, this is more like me. :)

I had been planning on bleaching my hair to get it close to my original colour so that I could take a break from dyeing my hair for a while. But since I needed to bleach it, I figured I might as well put some shock colours in my hair for a while before dyeing my hair back to my natural colour. I was actually planning on just some kind of a red, but then I remembered how lovely I always thought pink and orange hair looked. So I decided to go for it myself! And I really like the result.
(The dyes I used were LaRiche Directions’ Mandarin and Flamingo Pink. I love the names, hehe.)

We had a hair dyeing get-together at my place today, with Elsa and Juho and I. Elsa dyed my hair and I dyed her and Juho’s hair. It was a lot of fun, even though my bleaching results were really odd. But luckily that didn’t prevent the shock colours from looking gorgeous! :)

I’ll post some more pictures under the comments – as usual, the colours change a lot depending on the light conditions. I chose this photo here as the “main” one because it shows off the two colours together.

i want to dye my hair pink this summer but am debating wether to just dye the tips or streak it in some of the bottom layers.

I changed the day to Tuesday, because of an awards ceremony on Monday. If I had my hair dyed for that, the photos would forever depic me and my pinkness, and if it turns out wrong/bad…..

This Friday (22nd May 2009) , I swear I’m going to dye my hair pink!!! It will be gruuuuusssome!!!

i’m super hyped up about dying my hair pink during the summer. Although there is some speculation as to whether i want to dye just the tips of my hair, or the whole thing: as my school would certainly not approve if i turned up for my first day of sixth form with pink hair. But apparently the dye i was planning to use (Directions) fades after 6-8 weeks and i have 10-12 weeks of summer this year. wooooo! so, i’m still thinking about doing the whole of my head :)
the picture i attached is the colour i desire most, i’ve just fallen in love with the one on the right. However looking at other pictures of people having used the same colour, they had different tones and effects etc. so i hope i replicate this colour and shine okay!
