And remembered the Guinness I had in Dublin a couple of weeks ago.
Not the first time, and definitely it won’t be the last time.
How I did it: I went to Ireland, found an old local pub, and went in and ordered a Guinness. Before I knew it, I was singing along with everyone else in there having a jolly old time.

I don’t drink… but I’ve had a Coke in a pub in Ireland. I’d say that counts.
SmallVictories is fine and dandy and, by the way, addicted to FarmTown.
I had happened on a bachelor party. It was soooo much fun. I met the man of my dreams but my brother chased him away. (Yes, my brother is truly an ass.) Would I be happy as the wife of a construction boss in Co. Kerry? Perhaps. Or that’s just the Bulmer’s talking.
Anyway, in search of said guy, I sent the Laurels a bunch of pictures taken of that memorable night. I got a letter – hand written of course – back from them but they have no idea the identity of the most of them as they’re not Kilarney locals. (Well, one of the them was “The Rock” who’s a local gaelic rugby hero.) But if they post the pics, some people there that night may see them and be pleased.
Can’t and haven’t had any to drink yet, but i want to go to Ireland, and who doesnt want to drink when they can? (of course alcoholics but outside that)
definitely worth doing. Also drink a Guinness in the bar at the top of the Guinness Factory – the view is excellent.
I think that Guinness in Ireland is thicker, “milkier” than it is in Canada. Must be fresher or something. In any case it’s heaven.
Warm and smoothe with an Irish friend ‘taking the piss’ out of horny lads! Couldn’t be a better pint.
