chinalove is begining with the end in mind
Well I’ve been seeing more movies than theater, so I guess this is a good place for my reviews:
Last nite I saw Passengers about a therapist who has to help passengers after a plane crash. What a good movie. I like it because of course it had a love story, but also the big questions about life…...what would happen if you were gone tomorrow what would you want to do today. This is a question I want to ask everyday to really live. As said in the movie life goes by in a flash…..are you really sucking the juice out of it. And it had such a twist that I won’t reveal….it was very stimulating.
Also saw Revolutionary Road…..best movie I have seen with Leonardo and Kate. It’s about marriage and how difficult it is to make your dreams come true and make your marriage happy…this is a huge theme. I saw in the movie how in marriage sometimes partners are truly trying to connect and do good, and it comes out side ways, and hurts the person. I saw how desparately we try to love one another and sometimes miss it. It also reveals how easy it is to have an affair when one is frustrated and empty and not knowing which way to go. This movies raised a lot of feeling for me about all of us who try to make marriage work….sometimes honestly it seems so impossible. And yet in the movie you see what a rich and admirable marriage they had. And the kids that come. Do we all want kids!????
