My goal is to win an award at this tournament in June. I’ve got some great ideas for my display board, and hopefully my individual models will get there for me. This one sort of ties into the last one. I don’t play warhammer to win games; I play because it’s fun. I build armies to go with the story behind the game, or because they look good on the table. When I go to a major tournament I expect to lose at least 50% of the games, however I am a fairly good painter. My goal is to convert miniatures so they stand out from the others, and paint them so they look great from five to ten feet away. Obviously I want them to look good very close too, but unless I get peoples’ attention from far away, then there’s no use to having them look good up close. I’ll probably make more specific goals when I get ready for specific tournaments. 4 years ago
