The three J’s —what can I say? Things are not too hot with any of them at the moment. I’m a bit disappointed with each of them right now; two for womanizing and the other for being so inconsistent. What more can I say? I don’t feel the need to call any of them at this point.

Willene called me last night but I did not call her back. I am thinking that I will go visit her in October. I can take Brigette and Taylor to visit Gail in Mobile and then on the way back we can stop over in Atlanta and visit Willene for one day/night. Maybe I can even see Secquoiyah while we are in Georgia.
I need to text Secquoiyah and send her the photos I promised.

I called Gary in Hong Kong last night at 8:12 pm! Robin was mentioning yesterday that she had not heard from him so I said I would send him an e-mail. I sent the message and told him I would call him in the evening, which would be morning for him.
So I called my cell phone service provider and added international calling, then I called him. He was on his way to work out, but he was pleased that I called. He sent me an e-mail saying that the call lifted his spirits. He was feeling down because his daughter and wife left the day before coming back here. Sabine has one more year of high school and school starts next week. I think that after I finish the wedding dress I will take Sabine and Mandy out to dinner.
I will try to call Gary once or twice a week to help him stay focused on getting his business back on track and so that he won’t be so lonely. He really is talented. This is his blog site: http://orientalbridal.blogspot.com/

I love Kiko
Kimari is one of the greatest friends I have ever had in my life. He is so honest and sweet and caring with that crazy touch of New York drizzled with his yummy Jamaican accent. When I lost my job last year he was so consistent in calling and seeing about me that it blew my mind. It was the dead of winter and Kookoo kept hiking it to Jersey to see about me.
Although my recent trip to see Rob was a disaster, seeing Kimari made the whole trip so worth my while. He was having problems with his girl and we discussed it a bit. The following Sunday I was thinking of him so strongly and he called me just at that moment. He was distressed because things had gone down hill with his girl. I told him he was being immature by punishing her by not talking to her. Rob did that to me and it sent me into a tail spin. I told him to suck it up and tell her how he felt. He got off the phone with me and called her right away. He called me later that week to tell me that he was so glad he called me and how good my advice was. Everything is great with him and Miss Thing and he is on top of the world again. I am so happy for him. I know he is happy and smiling. He has one of the most beautiful smiles I have ever witnessed.
I love you, Kookamonga!
Oh, and he is going to Tuyet Linh’s wedding with me, too! That will help me not to be so on edge about meeting all the people she will introduce me to since I am making her gown.

I have so much to do and people take up a lot of time. Besides, I am not so fond of the I’ll-call-you-only-when-I-need-you syndrome. That plus the way people help themselves to my resources are why I go MIA in my friendships.

Chenoa is back after quite an absence. And is done with school and has a job!
This is going along nicely – an olf friend from college will be in town on business for a week so I expect to catch up with him at some point this weekend.
Though I’m extremely sad to not have met one of my best friends when she was in town for mebbe 36 hours!! Her company needs to do better planning! :D But there is always a next time and we shall meet up then..

Friends are a very special gift which I’m blessed to have and they are certainly worth keeping in touch with better!

I found a friend from college on the net tonight. Actually, I found her phone number, address and a site she sells some items on. I really should be a detective. This was my 5th or 6th attempt to find her, but I finally did it. Where there’s a will, there’s some determined person behind that will who won’t stop until they accomplish their mission.

Facebook has really been a wonderful asset in helping me reach my goal by allowing me to keep my friends posted about events in my life. In turn, it also serves as a reminder for me to keep up with my friends and important dates. (I am normally terrible with dates!) Unfortunately, there are still some resistant ones that are harder to keep in the loop and some oversees in China who are blocked from getting on! For the most part I am keeping up now!

Things are not going so well. A best friend is getting married next Thurs and I need to get there. My original plan had been to go on the 6th so that I could meet up with all the friends that haven’t been invited to the wedding, as well as plan the bride’s bachelorette party. However, I will only be able to make it on the 10th now, and the other members (most of them) of the bachelorette have been uncooperative so far.
Plus, another friend unrelated to this group is going abroad for her masters on the 26th. I will be in town only till the 14th(coz my family demands that I be back home early for the weddings that will happen at my ancestral home). So now, I must plan for that as well, within the given time span.
I think I’m gonna have a migraine just thinking about planning everything.
This next week will be interesting to say the least.
Oh well – here’s to fun all around! :)
