Swim 50 Miles in 2009

The pool was closed for the first few days of the week then my mother and cat needed to be taken to appointments. Today I was finally back in the water. The pre-Thanksgiving crowd was gone thanks to 26 degree weather.

The pool was so busy with pre-Thanksgiving swimmers, that I ended up giving up “my” lane just one lap short of a mile. Now I have to decide if I’m going to swim on Friday. Unfortunately, the only road to get to the pool is shared by the Wal-Mart SuperCenter. I’m not sure I want to be in the middle of crazed, bargain-hunting drivers.

And I hated every single lap.

I spent the last two days helping my husband put siding on our house, and this morning my RA was letting me know about it. The pool felt good, but I sure didn’t enjoy the laps.
