Went to a Tony Robbin’s UPW seminar in Toronto with my friend Mike. It was great fun, very surreal and we picked up a lot of tools to use in our lives so that we don’t end up living a half-assed existence.
How to walk on fire
How I did it: Before actually walking on the hot, fiery coals we did some confidence building exercises. One of them was to break an arrow with the softest part of your throat. The pointed part of the arrow is placed at the softest part of your throat and the other end of the arrow is against a wood block. Once you're ready to break the arrow you just step forward and break the arrow. The first time I tried I did not break the arrow because it really hurt my throat. But my second try I did it and it actually made me very confident. Once everyone took a turn we went out to this big, dry field and made a gigantic bonfire. We then spread the coals from this bonfire out to about 10 feet long and 5 feet wide. Everyone then took turns to walk across the burning coals. Some even let loose by walking completely naked across the fire. I did get some "fire kisses" (the term used for the burn you get) but it went away the next day (for me anyway).
Lessons & tips: It's really not that scary because unless you stand on the coals for a while then you get burned. But if you walk across just fast enough you won't get burned, maybe just get a fire kiss.

It was very surreal but loads of fun! Mike and I walked across hot coals at the Tony Robbin’s seminar in Toronto. It was outside at night at the base of the CN Tower with three thousand people in the middle of drizzle, with Jungle beats playing while we all marched towards the firepits chanting “Yes, yes, yes, yes…....!”
This fire walk was totally different than my first one. I was so scared on the first one that the lane seemed so long! This fire walk was full of joy and happiness. It was so quick and fast. Funny what the mind can do.
No blisters or burns, no heat, no pain…just felt like walking on popcorn :0)
Thank you Tony Robbins Fire Team!!!
I DID THIS ONCE AT UPW IN SAN JOSE, 2005. NOW I WANT TO DO IT AGAIN. I WILL BE CREWING AT UPW IN LA 2008 SO I HAVE ANOTHER CHANCE TO DO THIS IN MARCH.

I really enjoyed it. Don’t know why the theme of fire keeps coming up for me in my life, but it does.
Will be doing it again at the end of March in NJ with Tony Robbins. It’s a metaphor for life, Just step up and Do it!
If you have been thinking about doing this… stop thinking and DECIDE, it’s a great ride.
Hmm..When I heard about this 2 years ago..I thought it was absolutely insane. However, it’s a good metaphor to living. Now my challenge is to see if i’d be willing to it again.
It was an awesome experience. I’ve done it several times at seminars. go to prosperityproducts.com to learn more about the seminars i went to.
Saw this being done in Sri Lanka three years ago. It was a culture show. They wouldn’t let me on, but it looked like it was no big deal. The firewalkers were just regular guys. I want to do it.
I’m going back there next year. Maybe I can do it then.
